Many youth and young adults find themselves involved in negative behavior at home, school, influence by social media and which sometimes lands them in the judicial system. They are described as aggressive or anxious, the defiant rebellion, as attention-disorder or emotionless, as unmotivated or in-teachable, drug abusers and dropouts.
As a result they have developed poor social skills, which helps them develop a potential pattern of destructive habits and/or lack of accountability.
COTM seeks to change the culture of youth and young adults, who exhibit negative behavior to help them become productive citizens of our society. Through the building of pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal and life skills, confidence, a desire to be healthy, become productive law abiding citizens and reassert a sense of hope in the future.
We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) agency serving economically disadvantaged and homeless youth and their families and youth/young adults within Dallas County.
