Youth and young adults today feeling alienated by society and are assigned a multitude of labels, most of which to them are unfriendly. They are described as aggressive or anxious, the defiant rebellion, as attention-disorder or emotionless, as unmotivated or in-teachable, drug abusers and dropouts. Children being provided with materials items, and influence by social media instead of quality time.
As a result they have developed poor social skills, which helps them develop a potential pattern of destructive habits and/or lack of accountability.
To change the culture of youth and young adults, who exhibit negative behavior to become productive citizens of our society. Through the building of pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal and life skills, confidence, a desire to be healthy, become productive law abiding citizens and reassert a sense of hope in the future.
We are a non-profit 501 (c) (3) agency serving economically disadvantaged and homeless youth and their families and youth/young adults within Dallas County.
